As a Software Engineer II, collaborate with teams to create tools and software enhancing system reliability and performance. Work with various technologies to develop applications, improve services, and update infrastructure and tools effectively.
As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in the design, development, enhancement, operation, and automation of software systems and services
- Following modern DevOps practices to build new services and enhance existing solutions
- Testing, profiling, and monitoring code to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Diagnosing and resolving system performance and reliability issues in collaboration with Site Reliability Engineers
- Contributing to the modernization and automation of applications, infrastructure, and operational processes
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2 years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Have hands-on programming experience with Python and Javascript
- Have experience with cloud-native technologies and concepts, including containers, service orchestration, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Have experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra, understanding of system reliability, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
