Job responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for multiple components and systems
- Develop and productionize high-quality machine learning models and services to improve operational risk processes and analyses
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver effective solutions
- Write secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream technical implications
- Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation and value
- Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Experience in Java, Advanced Java, ReactJS, Oracle, Kafka, Microservices, and Cloud
- Experience with end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins) including unit testing
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming and database querying languages
- Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
