Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Build and integrate RESTful Web APIs, MCP-aligned services.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices, including prompt engineering, model integration, and agentic workflows
- Collaborate with lead engineers to define modern architecture patterns (cloud-native, API-first, AI-enabled)
- Partner with Business Analysts to refine requirements and provide accurate estimates
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions

- Ensure code quality through secure coding practices, input validation/sanitization, and adherence to compliance standards
- Lead or contribute to the delivery of complex features or projects, including coordination across team members
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
- Participate in production support, monitoring, and incident resolution, meeting SLA expectations
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in AI, APIs, and modern web development
- Drive adoption of operational excellence practices across build, deploy, monitor, and support phases

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C# / .NET (preferably .NET 6/8+)
- 5+ years of experience building RESTful APIs and Web Services
- 5+ years of experience with Angular (modern versions) and front-end web development
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Solid experience in Web API design, architecture, and API gateway integration
- Solid experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases, including design and optimization
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, or integrating AI services into applications
- Experience with secure application development (OAuth2, JWT, input validation, API security best practices)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.)
- Experience leading features, mentoring engineers, or guiding small teams
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
- Proven solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI agent integration patterns
- Experience designing AI-powered applications (LLMs, embeddings, orchestration layers)
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, prompt tuning, and reusable prompt frameworks
- Experience implementing token validation, security hardening, and API governance
- Azure services such as:
- App Services
- Azure Functions
- API Management (APIM)
- Experience with modern UI/UX patterns and responsive web design
- Healthcare industry experience
- Familiarity with observability tools (logging, tracing, monitoring)
