Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to assist in the design of software configuration and customization, ensuring that the solutions align with business process designs and application requirements. You will engage in discussions to refine processes and contribute to the overall success of the project, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the configuration process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on configuration requirements. - Document configuration processes and maintain accurate records for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - Strong understanding of software configuration management principles. - Experience with customization of software applications to meet specific business needs. - Familiarity with version control systems and their application in software development. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
