About the role

We are seeking a highly creative, results-driven Social Media Manager to lead the organic growth of all our social media channels across multiple Ruby Labs brands. This is a full-time position reporting to the Marketing Director and collaborating closely with our Creative and Marketing teams.

Your mission will be to grow our social media profiles organically and drive trial sign ups for our products. You will own the strategy and execution of our presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging channels. You’ll launch high-impact, engaging content and campaigns designed to attract attention, encourage interaction, and convert audiences into users.

We’re looking for a social media expert who not only understands how to grow reach and engagement, but also how to convert that attention into measurable acquisition and product sign-ups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy & Execution: Lead the organic social media strategy across multiple Ruby Labs brands and platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat), with a direct focus on driving organic growth and product trials.

  • Campaign Ideation: Conceptualise and launch viral content campaigns, including giveaways, challenges, collaborations, and community-driven initiatives.

  • Content Calendar Management: Create and manage monthly content calendars for each brand, ensuring strategic alignment, platform-specific optimisation, and timely delivery.

  • Performance Growth: Grow our follower base and engagement while improving social media’s contribution to total product sign-ups and trials. Regularly analyse performance and make data-informed decisions to improve results.

  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with designers to guide content production and ensure the highest quality output aligned with each platform's best practices.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on key metrics weekly and monthly. Use data to inform future content and optimize performance.

  • Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest platform trends, viral formats, and algorithm changes. Be proactive in suggesting new ideas and testing new platforms or features.

  • Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with product teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across channels.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms with a proven track record of organic growth and engagement.

  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat – their audiences, formats, algorithms, and growth strategies.

  • Creative Thinking: Strong ideation skills. Must be a content and campaign brainstormer who knows how to turn ideas into viral content.

  • Execution Excellence: Experience managing content calendars, posting schedules, engagement workflows, and reporting systems.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to measure performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize content based on insights.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Bonus points for strong visual storytelling and short-form video content experience.

  • Ownership Mentality: Highly autonomous, proactive, and comfortable taking full responsibility for the performance and direction of our social channels.

Nice to have
  • Experience working with subscription-based or digital consumer products.

  • Experience growing accounts from zero to significant following.

  • Strong understanding of content virality and shareability mechanics.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.

Interview Process

  4. Final Interview (60 minutes): Meet with the Marketing Director to present your ideas and discuss your long-term vision for Social Media Marketing at Ruby Labs.
