Job Description
- 6–7 years of hands-on CMDB / Configuration Management experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and service mapping modules.
- Knowledge of governance, audit, data certification, and compliance.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, Query Builder queries, workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot CI conflicts, data gaps, discovery issues
- Maintain Configuration Items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle—creation, update, reclassification, retirement/decommission.
- Perform monthly CI class-wise audits and yearly data certification audits.
- Monitor CMDB dashboards and remediate data quality issues.
- Manage duplicate CI remediation for Discovery & Data Onboarding
- Review, validate, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery schedules and errors.
- Coordinate with CI Class Owners for erroneous CI data and reconciliation.
- Support Change, Incident, Catalog, and Application CI tasks.
- Ensure CI relationships are validated and maintained across environments. Governance & Compliance
- Enforce CMDB policies, standards, and CI ownership compliance.
- Participate in audits, verifications, and remediation activities.
- Create CMDB reports, dashboards, Query Builder outputs, and automation flows.
- Use ATF for testing CMDB modules during ServiceNow upgrade
