Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with expertise in using AI tools to enhance and streamline the design process. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing user-centric experiences and understands how to ethically and effectively leverage AI for tasks like user research analysis, prototyping, and personalization.This role requires a blend of traditional design skills with an understanding of AI's capabilities and limitations. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineers to create intuitive and intelligent user experiences.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Predictive Prototyping: Utilize AI to generate wireframes and prototypes from simple sketches or requirements, allowing for rapid iteration and testing of design concepts.
Personalized Experiences: Use AI-driven analytics to understand user behavior and data trends, then design and adapt interfaces to create personalized, context-aware experiences.
Automated Workflow: Leverage AI to automate repetitive and low-stakes design tasks, such as generating design assets, creating responsive layouts, and ensuring brand consistency.
User Feedback and Testing: Perform sentiment analysis or behavioral pattern recognition, to gain deeper insights from user feedback.
Ethical AI Design: Advocate for responsible and ethical AI use in products and services, designing for transparency and addressing potential biases in AI-driven features.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously advance the practice of UI/UX design within the organization.
Insurance domain knowledge and/or experience in financial services
Strong relationship management skills
Experience with any insurance carriers or technology implementation partners
Knowledge or training in Design Thinking principles
Qualifications
Bachelors or masters program in: Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, User Experience Design, Design Thinking, or a field related to user experience design with an accredited college/university
7+ years of user experience design, interaction design, and user interface design in enterprise and complex business processesA strong portfolio showcasing a human-centered design process and experience with AI-enhanced projects.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, including experience with relevant AI-powered plugins.
Proven experience in user research methodologies, prototyping, and usability testing.
A strong understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and present ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with a conversational design, voice, or generative AI interface is a strong plus.
