Role: We are looking for an experienced Product Support Engineer III to join our Global Customer Support team in Bangalore, reporting to the Manager, Product Support. You'll be an important contributor to solving challenges faced by our client-facing teams to help make Zscaler more efficient in meeting our customers' needs. You will help our customers succeed and lead value by identifying solutions through trend analysis and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Provide second line phone/email consultation to independently debug complex security and network problems
- Partner with Engineering to assist customers with testing, troubleshooting, and reproducing issues to verify problems
- Provide critical feedback to Engineering and Operations teams to drive product improvements and verify resolutions
- Create technical support online database entries to document incident resolutions not found in the existing knowledge base
- Contribute to product and code changes throughout the product cycle by understanding customer use-cases and product direction

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4-8 years of experience in a support organization specifically handling P0 and P1 cases
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure and AWS networking, including VPCs, VNets, and hybrid connectivity solutions
- Technical proficiency in cloud security (NSGs/NACLs), traffic management (ELB/GWLB), and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Additional knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Web Proxy, SSL inspection, Firewall, and Zero Trust principles such as ZIA or ZPA
- Advanced administration skills for Linux, Windows Server, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Citrix environments
