Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter (6-Month Contract) to partner closely with our engineering and people teams in Hyderabad and Boston. Your mission: attract and hire exceptional software engineering talent to power Nasuni’s next stage of innovation.
You’ll recruit deeply technical roles such as Senior Software Engineers, Principal Software Engineers, and Engineering Managers focused on Linux, Network Storage Protocols (NFS, SMB, CIFS, SAMBA), Cloud File Storage, Distributed Systems, Open Source, Serverless, and Microservices, using Python, C++, Golang, and other tools.
You’ll bring expertise in full-cycle technical recruiting, a passion for sharing cutting-edge technology, and the ability to engage top-tier passive engineering talent in a competitive market.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for a motivated, highly outgoing recruiter who thrives in scaling tech organizations and wants to contribute directly to the success of a new Nasuni Innovation Center.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting for Engineering Roles
- Own end-to-end recruitment for senior and principal software engineering positions in Hyderabad, including job scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers in Hyderabad and the U.S. to understand hiring needs and design effective search and sourcing strategies.
- Manage candidate pipelines and schedule interviews using Greenhouse ATS, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Strategic Sourcing & Talent Engagement
- Identify, engage, and convert passive candidates through creative sourcing across LinkedIn, Naukri, GitHub, Hirist, Stack Overflow, and other tech communities.
- Build strong talent pipelines in Cloud, Distributed Systems, File Storage, Network File Systems, Network Protocols, and Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Position Nasuni as an employer of choice using our strong Employee Value Prop, Culture, and Reputation.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Deliver a premium candidate experience, representing Nasuni’s hybrid culture, innovation, and engineering excellence.
- Partner with the marketing and people teams to create compelling social media and event content to attract local tech talent.
- Help plan and execute Nasuni Hyderabad hiring events and open-houses.
Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate daily with the Director of Global Talent Acquisition (Boston) to align on global hiring goals.
- Partner with the Director, People Hyderabad and Nasuni’s Site Leader on onboarding of new hires.
- Provide talent market insights, compensation trends, and recruiting metrics to inform hiring decisions.
Process, Metrics, and Reporting
- Meet recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate conversion ratios, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Drive data integrity within Greenhouse and report weekly on pipeline health and hiring progress by REQ and Hiring Manager.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiter efficiency, automation, AI utilization, and hiring manager engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within global SaaS or product-based Software companies.
- Experience recruiting niche hard-to-find Cloud SaaS Software Engineers.
- Proven success recruiting Software Engineers and Engineering Leaders for roles involving C/C++, Golang, Linux, Distributed Systems, Cloud, or Kubernetes.
- Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and open-source communities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and building world class teams.
- Hands-on experience with Greenhouse ATS or similar enterprise applicant tracking systems, such as iCIMS, Workday, SuccessFactors, Lever, BambooHR, or SmartRecruiters.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, hybrid environment with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Prior experience recruiting for companies in Cloud Storage, Networking, Distributed Systems, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure Software domains.
- Familiarity with compensation structures and offer processes in Indian and global tech markets.
- Exposure to working with US-based teams and executives in a global recruiting environment.
