Job Description
What you get to do in this role:

• You will be an instrumental team member in the global team to define and automate the creation of new projects and resources in Google Cloud
• You will Manage and tune the scaling and performance of the environments and its technology components such as MySQL, elasticsearch and mongoDB
• You will be in charge of further hardening and securing the environments. Automate further with Sec&Pen tests and take immediate action on any security alerts.
• You will be responsible for planning and executing upgrades on both system and application level for the environments

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 5+ years of experience in Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP (Compute, Networking, Storage).
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Shell/Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript for automation via API/CLI.
• Manage IAM, console operations, security controls, and ensure cloud cost efficiency.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments (upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, high availability).
• Support DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
• Maintain and patch OS images/templates per security guidelines.
• High proficiency in Linux (LDAP, monitoring, storage mgmt., scripting, performance tuning) and Windows (AD, SCOM, MS SQL, clustering, PowerShell).

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Oracle/IBM cloud platforms.
• Networking knowledge (Juniper/Cisco, DNS, DHCP, VPN, L3 routing, IPv6).
• Understanding of storage technologies (NetApp, EMC, Pure, SAN/NAS/iSCSI/FC).
• Familiarity with enterprise tools (F5, Weblogic, Websphere, Tivoli, Netcool).
• Monitoring tools experience (Zabbix, Dynatrace, Splunk, Nagios, etc.).
• Experience with ServiceNow and hardware/software procurement processes.
