We are looking for a seasoned Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Shared Platform Services team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore/Mohali reporting to the Director Software Engineering Our Engineering team built the world's largest cloud security platform from the ground up, and we keep building. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy through our multitenant architecture.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
Lead ZCC feature design and hands-on C++ implementation on Windows
Take full technical ownership of complex projects, from concept to deployment
Elevate code quality and enforce best practices to ensure a robust, efficient, and secure client
Contribute significantly to the technical roadmap and architectural strategy
Provide strong technical mentorship to Staff and Senior Engineers

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
10+ years in software development with at least 3 years in Staff Engineer (or equivalent) leadership on complex client-side applications
Deep proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17/20), including OOD, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and performance tuning
Extensive network programming experience (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, proxy) with knowledge of kernel-mode networking or NDIS drivers
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption (PKI, TLS/SSL), authentication, endpoint agents, and anti-tampering
Proficiency in version control systems like Git and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure high-quality software delivery
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Working experience in .NET framework/C# for Windows
Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Working experience using AI-based tools to accelerate development workflows
