Shift Timings - 6pm - 2am (Night Shift)
The Impact You Will Have- Own MongoDB Capitalization commissions accounting processes for the monthly close. Review and reconcile system-processed commissionable transactions in Xactly Incent (XI) when imported into Xactly CEA (the capitalization program) to ensure all commissions accrued are properly categorized and treated according to the capitalization rules listed in the Technical Accounting memo. Prepare monthly capitalization journal entries and provide monthly financial statements flux analysis
- Own the monthly operations of Xactly CEA from monthly XI data import, model run, manual adjustments uploads, to quarterly key tables and forms maintenance, to prepare reconciliations and capitalization schedules
- Work with the CEA Support team on bug fixes and enhancements. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Prepare monthly Trend Analysis with monthly Capitalization activities that foot to the Trial Balance and Financials with detailed categorization and high level summary supporting MoM variances
- Work closely with FP&A and Commissions Operations teams to evaluate new compensation plan and elements changes and to ensure proper capitalization treatment as well as accounting impact and operational feasibility
- Assist in internal and external audit cycles and provide detail, accurate and complete supports
- Provide continuous improvements to the CAP commissions and reconciliation process through automation and rethinking legacy processes, maintain and draft process documentation
- Assist with system integration activities, which includes implementation a variety of finance and accounting solutions (Xactly CEA Accrual, Xactly Incent, NetSuite, etc)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 & SOX
- Business systems knowledge such as Xactly, NetSuite and Floquast highly preferred
- Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and ability to implement controls to mitigate business risks
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Sensitive to deadlines and able to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
- Working knowledge of incentive plan structures (quotas, accelerators, pay mix, and on-target earnings) and systems
- Ability to work in a multifaceted and fast growth environment with changing priorities (Being a great team player)
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborative and people skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to grow and think outside the box, identify problems and opportunities to improve upon existing processes and provide innovative solutions
