As a Global Senior Solutions Architect for Trusted Call Solutions, you’ll be strategic in architecting TransUnion’s Branded Communications under the TruContact business portfolio by working closely with carriers and fortune 500 enterprises globally. Play a dual role of Solutions Architect and Sales Engineer at the same time. As an individual contributor, work with a team of senior solution architects and product managers who focus on designing, developing, and integrating technology solutions for global customers in different business verticals. You will be working closely with internal Product Managers, Software Developers, Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Standards writing individuals. This role brings together market and global competitive intelligence to shape the product features, roadmap, new services, drive adoption based on key metrics and deliver value for carriers and enterprises. You will be thinking strategically about how to frame and execute on new initiatives that will shape products and services under TransUnion’s Branded Communications group by leveraging existing products and services under various other TransUnion TruBrand business solutions.
As an experienced and motivated leader, possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills, you will become the trusted customer advocate and help them understand best practices around TransUnion’s solutions (On-prem and cloud computing SaaS models), and how to best manage various workloads leveraging microservices based architecture across the spectrum using serverless and container technology to auto scale critical services that span across different infrastructures.
Serve as a thought leader and collaborate towards creating products and services under Trusted Call Solutions as the market leader in their specific verticals.
What You'll Bring:
- Work with global customer’s (North America, LATAM, EMEA, APAC regions) senior solution architects and product managers effectively in an agile development environment and navigate deep into technical problem space.
- In partnership with Product and Sales Management, formulate and execute strategies to exceed revenue objectives including pricing strategies based on customers.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
- Interface with customer’s key stakeholders (including C-Level) and evangelize the value proposition of TransUnion solutions.
- Contribute to building business cases and advocates for investment as needed, which includes partnering with Business Development, Product Management, Sales, and Product Engineering teams.
- Spend time with customers capturing VOC (Voice of Customer) and user feedback, applying design thinking principles to understand their problems and needs.
- Apply a commercial, user-centric mindset to build robust, market-back GTM strategies.
- Directly support sales & account management individuals to help convert prospects and accomplish annual revenue targets.
- Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions with customers and internal product/sales teams to increase product/service awareness and knowledge across teams.
- Work with Senior Architects and Senior Developers to design/develop/maintain stateless micro-services in various environments (Public/Private Cloud, On-premises in customer domain) using modern techniques of CI/CD
- Contribute to improving best practices to deliver high quality solutions leveraging open-source tools/toolkits and utilities with automated builds, tests and deployments
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations including system architects, project managers, product managers and operations.
- Follow Agile development methodology leveraging tools like GIT (SCM), JIRA (User Stories), SLACK (Auto Notifications/Channels), MS TEAMS
- Participate in direct customer interactions, including national & international travel (40-50%)
- Take a lead role in working with Product, Technology and Sales team members for responding to RFI/RFP’s
- Author or otherwise contribute to solution design documents for customers including other artifacts (white papers and reusable content).
Impact You'll Make:
- Bachelor’s (B.S) degree in Computer Science or related field, Master’s (M.S) or MBA a plus
- Minimum 10+ years of system design/implementation/consulting experience with carriers and Fortune-500 enterprise supporting various network technologies for distributed real-time applications.
- Minimum 5+ years of solutions consulting/product management/building products and services with high availability and scalability in carrier and enterprise domain with hands-on software development experience using object-oriented design and programming.
- Extensive experience with building large scale, highly available, robust distributed systems.
- Recent experience working within widely adopted cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to think strategically and effectively communicate needs, priorities and a global vision in a simple, structured manner.
- Ability to influence, communicate, and manage cross-functionally and across all levels (Including C-Levels).
- Proven track record to create and manage strategic global vendor partnerships to accelerate product/services adoption.
- Solid understanding of RESTful systems and principles of good API design. Should have proven hands-on experience in designing, building and deploying production grade, highly scalable solutions based on cloud-native micro-services architecture.
- Provide customers with best practices and advise as it relates to Data Science workloads (AI/ML) including enhancing Transunion’s data models (supervised and un-supervised labeling) built by internal data science teams who build, deploy ML pipelines using industry tool chain.
- Participation and experience in industry standards organizations e.g. IETF/ATIS/3GPP/ITU-T would be a huge plus.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, Go and commonly used frameworks like Spring boot, Spring batch, Spring Data
- Experience with RDBMS, and NoSQL DB (MongoDB/Cassandra preferred)
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures (document form, JSON/YAML), problem solving, algorithm design and analysis
- Understanding of cryptography, encryption, and PKI Digital Certificate Management (X.509)
- Good familiarity with open-source development. Any hands-on experience with integrating open-source components into projects would be an advantage.
- Some nice to have technical skills:
- Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, VMWare
- Container based deployments (Cloud Native): Docker, Kubernetes, K8
- ELK Stack: Beats, Logstash, Open Search and Kibana
- Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
