About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Devops.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- Get in-depth understanding, monitor, and mentor the devops (CICD, versioning monitoring etc)
- Dive deep into your domain and understand technologies in depth also, have good understanding of other trending technologies.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agil

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Comp. Science or equivalent.
- OCP and K8s Certification.
Job Expectations:
- OCP and Kubernetes certified with Hands-on knowledge of Devops tooling
- Hands-on experience in Docker Container, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Devops, Networking, Microservices, APIs
- CI/CD and Automation: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Gitlab, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible
- OS and Platform – OCP, PCF, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, VMware
- Working experience in designing, architecting applications for deployment into one or more Containerize env (like OCP) / cloud (GCP, Azure) environments and the ability to build solutions leveraging Devops, OCP, Kubernetes, TKGI, Kafka, Microservices, APIs
- Understanding of tools and technologies like Virtual Machines, NAS, Networking, Hadoop, Teradata, Hive, Oracle, Mongo DB, SQL server, Autosys, Kafka
- Should possess Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members.
- Agile methodology using Kanban and Scrum.
