Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled and .NET full stack developer to join our Treasury applications team. The candidate should have expertise in developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications, services, WCF, MVC, REST APIs, Microservices (containerized apps) using the .NET framework, along with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies. He/she should be able to design, develop, maintain high-quality, reusable and secure software solutions according to business requirements by closely working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET core, MVC, WCF)
Build and integrate with APIs, services, and third-party libraries
Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for front-end components
Implement server-side logics, database interactions, and business logics using .NET frameworks
Design and manage relational databases (SQL Server, IBM DB2) and write efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, views, cursors, and triggers as needed for project requirements
Implement validations, data quality checks, troubleshoot, logging, exceptions handling and resolve data related issues
Write unit tests, perform system integration testing, user acceptance testing, sanity checks and resolve issues as reported
Debug and resolve technical issues across the application stack
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Deploy solutions into various environments like SIT/UAT/Pre-prod and production by following organization’s deployment procedures
Maintain source code in source repository (Git/GitHub), implement and maintain CICD pipelines and follow DevOps procedures for build & deployments
Create and maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with System Analysts, Business Analysts, Architects, cross-functional teams (DBA, developers) and business users
Implement integration with Cloud technologies, databases, SFTP, Identity Management Systems, Active Directory and so on
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in .NET development and front-end/back-end technologies
Identify opportunities to improve application performance, security, and scalability
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in .NET frameworks (ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#) and IDE
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js)
Experience with relational databases design, development (e.g., IBM DB2, MS SQL Server) and proficiency in SQL
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architecture
Experience in use of source code management (Git, GitHub), DevOps, CICD
Experience with deployment of microservices into containers, code into on-prem environments
Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure), integrate with API Management, Key Vaults, Storage, AZ functions, AppInsights, App Services, Web Apps and so on
Experience in producing and consuming messages with Kafka, integration with SailPoint/OIM, Vaults like CyberArk
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work in an agile development environment
Experience:
5 to 10 years hands on experience in various .NET applications like web based, windows service, WPF, WCF, Micro Services, REST API, Angular apps, DB2/SQL backed databases, complex DB queries and so on
Experience in organization standards, participation full project development life cycle right from requirements gathering, development to implementation and support, change management process, warranty support procedures (incidents/problems/changes)
Working experience in Agile environment and Scrum framework process (ceremonies, daily standups, agility, responsibilities and accountability)
Experience in use of JIRA for requirements, development, daily updates, deployments and communication with project stakeholders
