Primary Responsibilities:

• Backend Development (Java & Python)
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django)
  • Build microservices with proper service-to-service communication
  • Implement business logic, validation, and error handling
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Optimize backend performance and ensure scalability
• Frontend Development (React)
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using React.js
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
  • Manage application state using tools like Redux, Context API, or similar
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement designs accurately
  • Database & Data Management (MySQL)
• Design and maintain relational database schemas
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
  • Handle large datasets and improve query performance
  • Perform database migrations and versioning
• Cloud & DevOps
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Use cloud services such as compute, storage, managed databases, and IAM
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
  • Work with Docker and containerized applications
  • Monitor applications using logging, metrics, and alerting tools
• Quality, Security & Reliability
  • Write unit, integration, and API tests
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Implement security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Collaboration & Ownership
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other engineers
  • Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and retrospectives
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and system architecture
  • Take ownership of features from development to production

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Solid experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
• Solid understanding of MySQL and relational database concepts
• Development & Architecture
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools (Prometheus, CloudWatch)
• Exposure to NoSQL databases (Big Table, Redis)
• Knowledge/Exposure on AI/ML Libraries
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
