Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) is a machine learning/AI powered customer acquisition and CRM multi-tenant platform. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be joining the Analytics team of ZMP which has a highly distributed event pipeline and a stack that gets tens of thousands of messages per second.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for taking decisions around building a scalable web application with goal to improve the agility of developing web applications by enforcing reusability, consistency across user interfaces, and with a focus on improving the developer experience.
You should have a deep knowledge of frontend libraries, restful APIs and must have an extensive frontend application design and development experience. You should be passionate about building high-performance web applications where the issues of throughput, performance, redundancy, and concurrency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be:
- Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements, designing, and implementing core components for real-world marketing automation platform.
- Designing, implementing application code to satisfy product requirements
- Ensuring high product quality through rigorous code reviews and unit tests
- Fixing bugs and implementing enhancements
- Taking ownership of a significant product component in design and implementation
Requirements:
- We are looking for exceptional talent with superior academic credentials and a solid foundation in computer sciences and frontend application development experience.
- The candidate will have had at least 5 years of experience developing frontend web applications in React/Angular/Typescript/JavaScript/ES6 or equivalent languages.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science (or a related field) from a university where the primary language of instruction is English is strongly desired.
- Strong communication skills in a large-distributed development team environment are essential.
Qualification:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of working experience with React/Angular/Typescript/JavaScript/ES6 or equivalent frontend programming languages.
- Strong command over CSS
- Strong command over web development technologies and practices.
- Experienced with code building tools like webpack, rollup etc.
- Experience with modern frontend development and micro frontend architecture.
- Experience in designing web application architecture for multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Experience with APIs and a strong understanding of HTTP and REST architecture.
- Understanding of different network protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP2.0, Web Sockets etc.
- Understanding of web servers (NGINX, Apache etc) and application servers.
- Experience with backend focused languages like Go, NodeJS, Java, Python is a plus.
- Experience in advertising domain is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
