We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join the Data Science Engineering Platform team and help us shape telemetry data collection, onboarding and resource governance at trillion event scale. As a Data Engineer, you will play a significant role in bridging the gap between data science needs and software engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, deploy and maintain the platform services, workflows and libraries required for onboarding and collecting telemetry data in a resource prudent manner. What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including full stack engineers, data / ml ops engineers, and SREs, to craft, implement and maintain scalable services, automations and workflows.

Develop and support data models and schemas that provide blazing-fast performance. Constantly optimize service workflows to ensure seamless data collection and onboarding.

Implement data quality checks and observability mechanisms to ensure data integrity and accuracy at every stage. Detect and resolve bottlenecks swiftly to maintain a highly available and reliable data ecosystem.

Stay ahead of the curve in data engineering technologies and trends. Introduce new tools, techniques, and best practices to improve our data science platform, empowering data scientists and analysts alike.

Foster a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing within the team.
What We Need To See:

5+ Years of experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in building scalable and efficient systems.

Solid knowledge in Linux environment.
