Job Description for the role:
Senior QA Engineer
Experience: 6 – 8 years and above
Location: Chennai (Ambattur) or Coimbatore
Skills required:
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for Web applications using any programming language such as Ruby/Python/Java, Selenium (must), Along with manual testing..
-Drive the automation testing tech stack to achieve high-quality software releases.
-Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and user stories.
-Execute automated test cases to identify and report defects.
-Keep test scripts up to date with software feature changes.
-Develop and maintain test data sets and test environments.
-Participate in code reviews to ensure code and test script quality.
-Continuously improve the test automation framework by implementing best practices and tools.
-Experience in working in Agile development environment and be part of the agile ceremonies.
-Excellent knowledge in analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills while testing the application.
-Knowledge in API testing using Postman or other API testing tools.
-Work closely with the Business teams, BAs, Developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
-Mentor and guide junior QA Engineers on testing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
-Collaborate with the QA team to establish consistent testing practices across different products and projects.
-Should be flexible on working during EST/IST hours on rotational basis.
