The Role You’ll Play
•Own and drive the product roadmap for Payments, ensuring a scalable, reliable, and compliant payments experience.
•Define and document product requirements (PRDs/BRDs, user flows, API specs) for payment processing, money movement, and merchant onboarding.
•Oversee end-to-end payment flows, including authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and payouts.
•Integrate and manage partnerships with payment processors, banks, card networks, and third-party vendors.
•Work closely with engineering to implement secure, high-performance payment infrastructure.
•Ensure the payments platform meets compliance, regulatory, and risk management requirements, including PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, and chargeback management.
•Improve the merchant experience by optimizing payment onboarding, reporting, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
•Analyze payment performance metrics (approval rates, chargebacks, fraud rates) and continuously improve reliability and conversion rates.
•Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure efficient money movement, settlements, and financial reporting.
•Stay ahead of industry trends, payment regulations, and emerging technologies (e.g., real-time payments, digital wallets, tokenization).
Experience You Bring:
•8+ years of experience in product management, with a strong background in payments, fintech, or financial services.
•Deep understanding of payment processing, money movement, acquiring, issuing, and settlements.
•Experience working with payment processors, gateways, banks, or card networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, ACH, RTP, wallets).
•Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, NACHA, PSD2).
•Technical fluency – ability to work with APIs, payment integrations, and data flows.
•Proven ability to ship new payment products in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – balancing business needs, user experience, and technical constraints.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – able to work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, legal, and operations.
•Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
•Experience in a Payments Facilitator (PayFac) environment is a plus.
•Background in fitness, SaaS, or subscription businesses is a plus.
