Senior Product Designer - Data Experiences

The Senior Product Designer will play a critical role in shaping the design strategy and execution for Jira Service Management data experiences including data management and analytics. As a part of this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across timezones to identify and fill product gaps, improve end-to-end cross product experiences, and ensure Atlassian's competitive positioning in the market with our larger enterprise customers.
In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers from across the business to create user-centric designs that align with Atlassian's strategic goals.
• Bring to life new ideas and experiences to influence what should be, and help shape our future roadmaps.
• Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and cohesive user experiences.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
• Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of experiences.
• Engage with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.

• Several (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
• Proficiency in Figma including working with tokens, variables, prototypes and animation
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and decisions
• Ability to design, conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions
• Proficiency with AI tooling and prototyping (e.g. v0, Loveable, Bolt, Cursor)
