• As a Senior Front-End Developer, the role holder will contribute strong front-end development and UI design expertise within an Agile delivery squad. The role involves hands-on development and the consistent application of Continuous Integration tools and practices in support of Deutsche Bank’s digitalization journey.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, review, and propose technical solutions to address user stories and assigned tasks 
• Develop, unit test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software solutions 
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards 
• Actively participate in Agile squad ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives 
• Contribute to and support Dev Chapter activities, including chapter-level initiatives 
• Apply Continuous Integration best practices, including source control management, building automation, unit testing, and dependency management 
• Collaborate closely with squad members to achieve Sprint and Squad objectives 
• Maintain accurate status updates in Agile delivery and tracking tools (JIRA and Confluence) 
• Manage individual task prioritization and delivery commitments 
• Take accountability for the quality, stability, and maintainability of delivered solutions 
• Contribute to planning activities and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Provide ongoing support to the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Scrum Master 

Your skills and experience

• Experience min 10 and max 12 years
• Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery practices including User Stories, ATDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, and Agile Games 
• Proven experience in front-end and UI development, including mobile application development 
• Hands-on experience with the Ionic Framework for hybrid mobile application development 
• Experience with Android and iOS application release processes 
• Strong expertise in Angular (version 17 and above) 
• At least three years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
• Practical experience applying software design patterns and recognizing anti-patterns 
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, TeamCity, Maven, and SonarQube 
• Good understanding of RESTful architecture, microservices concepts, and related technologies 
• Experience working with software design patterns and UML modelling 
• Hands-on experience with test automation and end-to-end testing, including Protractor 
• Prior experience working in Agile / SCRUM delivery environments 
• Experience working with distributed and multi-location teams 
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence 
• Strong alignment with Agile values including Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, and Courage (FROCC) 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset 
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams 
• Professional proficiency in English 

Preferred / Differentiating Skills 

• Experience with next-generation UI frameworks 
• Knowledge of OpenID Connect 
• Experience with jQuery and Apache Camel 
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle), XPath, XQuery, SOAP, and REST 
• Exposure to Backbase CXP
