We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple high-performing engineering teams responsible for building and scaling our core software platforms. This role combines strategic direction, technical depth, and strong people leadership.You’ll drive delivery of critical product initiatives, evolve system architecture for reliability and performance, and cultivate a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
What You Will Do As A Senior Engineering Manager
- Lead and mentor a group of software engineers and engineering managers, fostering professional growth and strong execution discipline.
- Partner with Product and Design leadership to define and deliver the engineering roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Oversee architectural planning, technical design reviews, and system reliability initiatives across services and applications.
- Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and operational performance.
- Develop scalable processes for release management, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement through metrics (velocity, quality, uptime, etc.).
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and QA teams to maintain a secure and stable production environment.
- Drive modernization initiatives, automation efforts, and the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure).
What You Will Bring As A Senior Engineering Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 14+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven experience leading distributed teams and delivering complex SaaS or enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern backend technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Experience managing teams that build scalable APIs, integrations, or microservices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Skilled at driving projects from concept to delivery, balancing quality, speed, and long-term maintainability.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Deep familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen.
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload

Pay Range*: INR 4,725,000 - 6,615,000 INR annually
