Senior Engineer, QA Automation(Tosca)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 3+ years 
• Strong experience required Tosca,Java, Appium, API Testing, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Design, develop and execute automated tests using Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or other languages as required.
• Analyze application requirements and specifications to create test plans and test cases..
• Use testing tools such as UFT, TOSCA, Test Complete, Katalon Studio, Appium, Coded UI, Protractor, Selenium, or other tools as required.
• Use testing frameworks such as Junit, Nunit, TestNg, or other frameworks as required.
• Experience in either Cucumber or Specflow.
• Should have experience in Gherkin, Behavior Driven Testing, Test Automation Framework.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the applications.
• Identify and report bugs and defects.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Generate and maintain test reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with the software development team and other stakeholders on software quality assurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the clients needs in the context of the project.
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and toolsets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested designs/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
