About this opportunity:
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as an Senior Engineer - IN Charging You will own configuration, updates, security compliance and troubleshooting for IN nodes across Ericsson and non-Ericsson architectures. Requires 8+ years in telecom/IN domains.
What you will do:
- Configure and update IN nodes (AIR, SDP, SAPC) and execute changes per access rights.
- Handle trouble tickets, escalations, RCAs and emergency incidents.
- Enforce MSTOP, password and security policies; perform audits and preventive maintenance.
- Support product setups: recharge groups, USSD, tariff plans, VAS, data charging across 2G/4G/5G.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, handovers and internal technical discussions.
- Coordinate with customers, 3PPs and internal teams for issue resolution and system handoffs.
The skills you bring:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Telecom; 8+ years relevant experience (Ericsson networks preferred).
- Strong IN/GSM protocol knowledge (SS7, CAP, INAP, MAP, Diameter), signalling and call flows.
- Experience with AIR/SDP, IVR, mediation, Linux, SQL/Oracle.
- Detail-oriented, process driven, good communicator, and able to mentor peers. Certifications in Ericsson Charging, Linux or DB admin preferred.
