Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Consultant Data analyst within Global Solution Pricing team for supporting our International Pricing organization.

The Solution Pricing Senior Consultant is a highly visible position and part of a team that is leading a transformational and strategic program for our TransUnion’s Global Solutions. This position will be responsible for driving business analytics within the Global Solutions Pricing team. (S)he will be an integral part of our program’s planning efforts by analyzing relevant data and deriving insights that lead to better decision making and stronger business outcomes. (S)he will proactively partner with Global Solutions Pricing leadership and team members, and with cross-functional team members (e.g., Finance, Global Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Technology, Data and Analytics), to make the best use of datasets throughout the organization and to answer key questions impacting our business. This role will ensure there is rigorous, accurate, relevant, and consistent use of data for Global Solutions Pricing associates to leverage for insights and decision making, as well as generate enthusiasm across Global Solutions Pricing teams about the use of data analytics to make decisions about scaling products, reaching new customers, diversifying how we go to market, and much more.

What you’ll bring:

• 9+ years of experience as a business analyst with a demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to effectively turn business requirements into solution design.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise in leveraging data visualization, statistical inference, and other advanced analytical techniques in deriving insights from large datasets
• Experience with a range of Business Intelligence tools and systems.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and draw upon resources across TransUnion in order to facilitate and support the ideation, development, and execution of complex initiatives
• Thought-leadership in identifying data trends and translating numbers and trends into tangible concepts/ideas or solutions; experience translating data into visuals to drive business insights and strategic decision-making
• Ability to apply strong project and time management skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Versatile interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate orally and over emails at multiple levels
• A Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Mathematics or other related field

What we’d Love to See:

• Advanced skill in automating and streamlining business processes, Power BI, Salesforce, programming languages like R, PySpark, Alteryx & SQL
• Data modeling and experience working with relational databases
• Proven aptitude to relationship building, experience working in matrixed organizations
• A growth mindset with a willingness to innovate
• Understanding of financial services / data and information industries preferred, but not mandatory

Impact you’ll make:

In this position, you'll be responsible for supporting analytics requirements in the commercial success group. You will be expected to work autonomously to build relationships gaining trust throughout the organization becoming a thought leader.

• Identify relevant data around the organization and leverage that data to answer questions about our products, our customers, our markets, our go-to-market strategies (pricing, marketing, etc.), and our business performance
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, determine trends, recognize abnormalities in the business, prepare, update and maintain key dashboards in Power BI or Salesforce.
• Creation, delivery and analysis of Billing / Pricing data reports for Pricing teams globally.
• Work on automating the price increase campaigns
• You will participate in the mentoring and training of junior colleagues, fostering a high-performance culture and cultivating an environment that promotes excellence and reflects the TransUnion brand.
