About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with Azure expertise to join our internal IT team. You will design, implement, and manage sophisticated cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, leveraging a deep understanding of Azure services, architectural principles, and best practices to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and document architecture blueprints and solution patterns for Azure-based applications.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a cross-functional Scrum team, operating in sprints with a managed backlog.
· Build closed-loop, data-driven DevOps architectures using tools like Azure Insights to capture and relay real-time metrics (e.g., security, scalability, performance) to stakeholders.
· Implement hierarchical organizational governance using Azure Management Groups.
· Apply code-driven administration practices, utilizing legacy Azure PowerShell modules, modern MgGraph modules, and Git-backed source control to automate operations.
· Deliver solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
· Architect modern authentication frameworks with Azure AD/EntraID, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD B2C.
· Develop Identity and Access Management (IAM) standards, leveraging Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with EntraID as the central control point.
· Support the delivery of SaaS solutions on Azure.
· Extensive expertise in Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity management.
· Strong foundation in core web technologies and computing fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, PKI).
· Proven experience in Scrum-based environments with sprints and backlog management.
· Hands-on expertise with IaC, CI/CD, Git, and pipeline automation (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
· In-depth knowledge of modern authentication (Azure AD/EntraID, SAML, OpenID Connect, Azure AD B2C) and IAM architecture supporting RBAC.
· Experience building data-driven DevOps architectures with tools like Azure Insights for real-time feedback on security, scalability, and performance.
· Proficiency in Azure governance via Management Groups and code-driven administration (PowerShell, MgGraph, Git).
· Familiarity with delivering SaaS on Azure.
· Bonus: Experience with Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.
