You will be working with one of our partners in Saudi that is transforming the insurance industry in the Kingdom with smart, instant, and purposeful solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement best practices for coding, security, and API design.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture.
- Ensure robust testing (unit, integration, and performance) to improve software quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and architecture decisions.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
