About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with extensive experience in Playwright to lead and enhance our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers in automation best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards.
- Drive automation strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for complex web applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in automation testing.
- 7–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects and manage priorities effectively.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
