In this role, you will drive automation testing initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products. You will work collaboratively with development teams to design, implement, and execute automated tests while mentoring junior testers to elevate the overall quality of our testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Create and optimize automated testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define appropriate testing strategies.
- Mentor junior team members on testing methodologies, automation best practices, and tools.
- Analyze test results and defects to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide input on testability and functional design.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Extensive experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
