Wells Fargo is seeking for a Senior Analytics Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 + years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
- Hands-on experience in SQL especially in Oracle, SQL Server & Teradata environment
- Hands-on experience in SAS, Python, Tableau / Power BI. Experience in Power Automate is preferred.
- Well versed with SDLC, production cycle and release management.
- Intellectually curious/ quick thinker
- Good data interpretation and presentation skills
- Willingness/ability to take ownership of a project
- Being able to adapt to change
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment and is able to work effectively with teams in remote locations
- Comfortable in a virtual environment, e.g. conference calls and webinars
- Bring a culture of operational excellence and enhancements
- Good team player
