SAP MDM Consultant

Lead and support SAP MDM/Master Data Governance (MDG) implementations across domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.).

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand master data requirements and define MDM strategies.

Design, build, and configure SAP MDG and/or SAP MDM components including workflows, data models, BRF+, validations, and derivations.

Manage data quality and consistency across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, harmonization, and migration using SAP tools (e.g., Data Services, LSMW, SLT).

Drive data governance initiatives and establish data standards, policies, and processes.

Integrate SAP MDM/MDG with SAP ECC/S4HANA, CRM, BW, and external applications.

Provide guidance and best practices on master data lifecycle management.

Participate in data strategy planning and transformation projects.

Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT cycles.

Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, and training materials.

Support change management and user training activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP MDM / MDG implementation and support.

Strong understanding of SAP master data domains: Material, Customer, Vendor, Finance.

Proficiency in SAP MDG (Central Governance, Consolidation, Mass Processing).

Hands-on experience in BRF+, FPM, Web Dynpro, and DRF (Data Replication Framework).

Experience with ALE, IDocs, and Web Services for MDM integration.

Familiarity with S/4HANA data model and MDM migration approaches.

Solid understanding of SAP Data Services, SLT, and LSMW tools for data migration.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

SAP MDG Certification

SAP S/4HANA Data Migration or Data Integration Certification

ITIL or Data Governance certifications (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) are a plus
