Position Overview
The Sales Manager of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening Aman’s brand presence across the destination. This role focuses on strategic account management, development of key partnerships, assist in drafting & executing sales strategies, and leadership in executing sales initiatives aligned with Aman’s global vision. The position requires a deep understanding of luxury travel, strong industry relationships, and the ability to influence high-value clientele and trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive room, villa, and experience revenue across Aman properties through proactive sales initiatives in South Asia. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual property’s revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities within luxury leisure, HNW/UHNW clientele, and select corporate segments.
Account Management & Partnerships
Build, manage, and grow relationships with key travel trade partners, luxury tour operators, travel advisors, and consortia. Maintain strong engagement with top-producing accounts through regular meetings, presentations, and market visits. Negotiate preferred partnerships and commercial agreements aligned with brand positioning.
Brand Representation & Market Presence
Act as a brand ambassador for Aman, ensuring consistent representation of brand values and standards. Represent Aman at industry events, luxury travel shows, roadshows/ Sales Missions, and client engagements. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams on brand activations, launches, and market-specific campaigns.
Strategy, Reporting & Collaboration
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to refine sales strategies. Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights for senior leadership. Work closely with property teams, reservations, revenue management, and global sales offices to ensure alignment.
Leadership & Development
Support and mentor junior sales team members where applicable. Contribute to building a high-performance, relationship-driven sales culture within the region.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
8–12 years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, luxury travel, or related sectors. Proven track record of success in the South Asian market, particularly India. Strong network within luxury travel trade, HNW/UHNW client segments, and industry partners. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
