Your role:

• Own specific areas of finance for the R&D organization, including partnering with the finance team, forecasts & budgeting, financial controls and reporting, purchase orders, billing & reimbursements, tariffs, FTE, Capex, expense tracking etc.
• Driving cost transparency and accountability in the R&D organization, e.g., related to productivity, cost center structures and cost allocations analysis.
• Analysis of monthly and quarterly R&D performance.
• Leading the R&D organization and project teams in their quarterly/yearly budgeting process.
• Support in R&D program business case creation and control.
• Drive process standardization, roll-out best practices, and drive global knowledge sharing.

You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max)

• 8+ years of proven and well-rounded business analysis / finance analysis experience. Specific experience in cost control is a plus.
• University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills; Eye for detail; Highly accurate in way of working
• Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling (Must)
• Advanced understanding of Financial tools, processes, and systems. (SAP, Qlik etc.)
• Knowledge and experience creating and reviewing business cases for projects
• Flexible to work across time zones especially North America (Must).
• Knowledge and experience working in the R&D space dealing with development projects and controls is a plus.
• Project and Program management Skills and Experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
• Proven ability to oversee complex processes, and drive process standardization.
• Knowledge and experience working in the R&D space dealing with development projects and controls is a plus.
• Leadership quality, self-driven, ability to set course and drive for completion.
• Project and Program management Skills and Experience is a plus.
• Power BI or other reporting tools knowledge is a plus

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
