Why is your role important?
BlackRock is seeking an experienced Team Lead / Quantitative researcher (VP) to join the regional business and focus on International; this role will be based in Gurgaon. Building on our global platform, the VP will lead the Gurgaon-based pod, providing oversight across ongoing dashboard & technology tools, multi-asset quant research and portfolio construction initiatives, while ensuring work is tightly prioritized and consistently translated into implementable, high-impact outcomes for the broader MPS International business.

In this role the Researcher & Portfolio Manager will:
Provide leadership, prioritization, and delivery oversight for the Gurgaon-based research team supporting MPS International.
Work with the team leadership to continuously refine the research roadmap: identify, size, sequence, and deliver the highest-impact research projects aligned to business needs.
Implement these insights in client portfolios and models, using them to deliver investment performance that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Drive translation of insights into portfolios and models—partnering with portfolio managers to implement research in a controlled, production-ready manner that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Remain current on developments in global financial markets and economics, with a focus on International.
Leverage BlackRock’s infrastructure and global practices to help evolving MPS International research-investment process.
Support the development of new products and solutions from inception to launch.
Help with investment commentary and promotion of MASS funds and mandates.
Build partnerships and strong working relationships

Good knowledge of quantitative finance theory and investment processes.
Creativity and capability to move ideas to implementable investment insights.
Good communication and presentation skills, and proficient in English.
