Job Title QA Engineer II

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer II to assist with delivering quality software products and solutions. The role will assist with usability, functional and integration testing and will interface with Product Management, QA, Release and Development teams to deliver best in class software.

- Contribute to requirements and documentation reviews, helping define and implement effective test strategies. Review/Write test cases that ensure the correct level of test coverage for an application
- Influence quality standards and testing practices, shaping the success of our products.
- Take full ownership of your testing responsibilities, identifying critical issues, documenting them, and driving resolution in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with Product Management, QA, Release, and Development teams, ensuring seamless communication and successful product releases.
What You’ll Need:
- Over 4 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer working on medium to large-scale enterprise products.
- Must have knowledge on API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured to validate backend services, third party integration and micro services etc.
- Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, test plan, and methodology to ensure the quality and reliability of Software Product.
- Collaborate and influence cross-functional team including developers, product managers , and understand software quality requirement and design effective test strategies.
- Define release planning and provide input on the readiness of software for production deployment.
- Create, maintain & execute test cases, test scenarios for various software component s including functional, regression, performance & compatibility.
- Identify and document defects, issues, and potential area of improvement in the SDLC.
- Perform RCA for complex issues and work with development team to resolve issues and enhance the overall product quality.
- Define key matrix for measuring and reporting on the quality of software product and test effectiveness.
- High attention to detail and solid communication skills.
