Join our Client Tax Operations Utility team, serving clients across the Corporate Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and Community Consumer Bank. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Tax Transformation & Emerging Technologies Team, where you'll lead high-impact transformation programs and work directly with senior leadership. You'll tackle complex business problems, design solutions, and contribute to our strategic agenda, including digitization, controls, and product development.
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager II within the Tax Transformation & Emerging Technologies Team, you will be at the forefront of transforming and strengthening operational processes and controls across Client Tax Operations. You will have the opportunity to lead high-impact transformation programs, work directly with senior leads and key stakeholders, and contribute to the strategic Client Tax Operations Utility agenda. This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your project management skills, business analysis expertise, and innovative thinking to improve client experience and reduce costs to the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing Tax Transformation Program lifecycles, governance, communication, delivery and post-delivery study of effectiveness
- Understanding the overall vision of the Tax Transformation program and working with senior leads and key stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities that improve client experience and reduce costs to the firm
- Maintaining cross-work stream program roadmap and identifying what standout features would be delivered during the current, next and future timeframes
- Leading cross-work streams forum to ensure interlocking across teams, prioritization of enhancements and appropriate escalation of issues and risks
- Assisting in developing Target Operating Model (TOM) with KPIs/KRIs to support the transition of projects into operations
- Applying best in class practices for project management, business analysis and requirements capture by effectively identifying, assessing, documenting and communicating business requirements for in-scope deliverable to technology
- Applying a broader mindset to deliver efficiently and consistently across teams and the wider organization
- Acting as the bridge between Tax Operations, Technology and Product Development (amongst others)
- Providing direction across multiple teams and lines of business for resources involved in program delivery
- Developing and maintaining long-lasting collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Organizing and managing communications with stakeholders and senior managers
Required qualifications, capabilities and skill:
- JIRA and Agile Methodology Experience
- Transformational mindset with ability to work with key stakeholders and senior leaders to drive improvements to the client experience and operational excellence
- Strong hands-on experience in managing cross-functional, multi-year projects
- Experience designing business processes and decision models, preferably using Signavio
- Polished presentation skills with ability to communicate at executive level and to deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations that "tell a story" and enable decisions to be made
- Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over all resources
- Strong relationship and project management skills
