About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to bring new products and solution capabilities to market, shape messaging and positioning, and equip Sales with effective enablement tools and collateral. The ideal candidate understands the U.S. healthcare payer landscape and has hands-on experience marketing healthcare data or technology solutions. The Product Marketing Manager will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Growth Marketing to drive go-to-market execution and accelerate growth. You are process driven, highly organized, and meticulous about details, deadlines, and documentation.
The Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively to understand critical needs and prioritize across the following responsibilities to maximize impact of product marketing:
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product and marketing strategies
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Create and manage product messaging, positioning, differentiation and go-to-market plans
- Ensure consistency across all marketing channels and sales materials
Competitive Intelligence
- Track and monitor competitors; recommend strategy adjustments to maintain product differentiation
- Equip sales with information and educational tools to counter competitive threats.
Content Creation
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns and schedules
- Create compelling messaging and content for various channels, including website, print, social media and sales enablement materials, targeting a focused profile of buyers and users
- Manage content development process for thought leadership such as blogs, case studies, and white papers
Go-to-Market Execution
- Develop go-to-market plans for new and existing products
- Coordinate with product, sales, and marketing teams for successful execution
Sales Enablement
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and collateral
- Equip sales and customer success teams with content, tools, and resources to accelerate sales and growth
- Develop and promote customer success stories
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Report on marketing campaign performance
- Assess campaign and pipeline impact and refine messages and tactics based on data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product management to understand product features and translate them into customer benefits
- Work with sales and customer success to develop sales tools, training, and collateral to support product launches, ongoing sales efforts, and customer success
Process, Tracking, and Coordination
- Maintain rigorous PMM operating rhythms with checklists, calendars, and agreed timelines
- Own PMM trackers for content, launches, and enablement and keep them accurate and current
- Drive follow-ups across stakeholders to close action items and hit milestones
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and/or Professional Certification(s) in Marketing, Business, and/or relevant creative services
- 5+ years of professional experience in product marketing, including developing and executing data-driven, multi-channel marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- 3+ years of experience in the US healthcare and/or Health IT industry.
- Experience in Design, Creative Services, and/or Copy Editing with the ability to showcase sample marketing materials and/or creative services content.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Proficiency with design tools and digital marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, HubSpot, etc.).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to drive toward action.
- Process driven with high attention to detail and strong organization; consistent on deadlines, documentation, and tracker hygiene
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience marketing healthcare technology/SaaS products to U.S. healthcare payers
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare payer program areas - Payment Integrity, Total Cost of Care, Interoperability, Risk adjustment, or Utilization management
- Technical and/or B2B product marketing experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools for campaign performance tracking.
- Experience/interest in AI process improvement/workflow optimization enablement for product marketing
