About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead workflow-driven product initiatives within our healthcare SaaS platform.
This role focuses on designing and delivering product capabilities that improve operational efficiency through automation and intelligent decision support. While the domain includes healthcare revenue and insurance workflows, this is fundamentally a product management role — owning problem discovery, roadmap definition, cross-functional alignment, and delivery outcomes.
You will work closely with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to build scalable product experiences that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and support measurable business outcomes.
This is not a billing operations role, and it is not a machine learning engineering role. It is a product role focused on building thoughtful, reliable workflow solutions that may leverage automation and AI where appropriate.
What You Will Do
Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership
- Translate business goals and customer needs into clear product roadmaps.
- Break down complex workflows into well-defined features and user stories.
- Define clear success metrics and measurable outcomes for each initiative.
- Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Drive alignment across engineering, design, and stakeholders.
Workflow & Automation Design
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Define how automation fits into the user journey — including when systems should act automatically and when users should review or intervene.
- Ensure new capabilities are intuitive, reliable, and compliant within a regulated environment.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure integrations, APIs, and dependencies are clearly defined.
Delivery & Execution
- Own the backlog and ensure stories are clearly written with actionable acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and release readiness.
- Lead UAT and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope trade-offs.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop a deep understanding of user workflows and operational pain points.
- Gather feedback through research, pilots, and stakeholder interviews.
- Communicate product updates and strategy clearly to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure solutions align with compliance and operational expectations.
What Success Looks Like
- Measurable reduction in manual steps within target workflows.
- Improved operational accuracy and reduced error rates.
- Strong adoption of new features by users.
- Clear, predictable delivery across roadmap milestones.
- Well-defined, scalable capabilities that support future automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, healthcare, or related field.
- 3+ years of Product Management experience delivering SaaS or workflow-driven products.
- Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design teams.
- Ability to think through edge cases and user experience implications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with operational workflows such as insurance, claims, or financial processes.
- Exposure to automation-enabled or AI-assisted product features.
- Experience working with API-based integrations or third-party systems.
Core Competencies
Customer-Focused Thinking
Understands user workflows deeply and builds solutions that reduce friction.
Structured Problem Solving
Breaks complex operational challenges into manageable, deliverable increments.
Execution Discipline
Balances speed, quality, and scope effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Builds strong partnerships with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
Outcome-Oriented
Measures success based on impact, not output.
