About the team
Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.
The team works within our Integrated Payments platform area, which delivers a range of benefits to merchants processing on our payment platforms, primarily our the triPOS Point of Sale Middleware Product, but also other upstream and downstream platforms.
These benefits can range from easy integration, connecting to products that provide cost reduction or higher acceptance, better customer or consumer insight to more payment methods – any many more.
The gateways portfolio is a global and we have teams across the globe who work together to provide consistent services to our book of customer. This particular role is within the POS team, based in India but will work closely with colleagues from around the globe.
The Integrated Payments platform offers highly secure and reliable payment processing solutions to our partners and merchants globally. The platform offers end-to-end integrated omnichannel solutions to customers in card-present industry verticals. In addition to the POS and Gateway solutions, the platform also offers value-added propositions like tokenization, hosted-payments, virtual terminal etc. The primary role will be to work with the triPOS API/SDK middleware products that enable our business partners to interact seamlessly with:1) payment gateways, 2) Payment POS devices (checkout terminals), and 3) with the POS Software middleware.
What you’ll own
- Understand product strategy, market, industry and client goals
- Work with d stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
- Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams
- Manage backlog of user stories for one or more products
- Write Features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Safe Agile Scrum team DSU meeting by answering questions and setting priorities.
- Lead Agile Scrum team through PI planning to maximize developer productivity and software value drops for customers.
- Monitor the development progress and provide updates to stakeholders as requested.
- Apply SAFe Agile methods and processes that encourages frequent inspection and adaption.
- Planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
What you bring
- 7 - 10 years’ experience in software product management or equivalent role
- Prior experience 5+ years in the card payments industry, with demonstrable understanding of major trends in Online / Instore payment solutions
- Understanding of agile methodology, e.g. SAFe, with competence utilizing project management software tolls (e.g. Rally) to write concise user stories to communicate with the Engineering and QA teams and to ensure feasibility.
