As a Trusted technology advisor to the VP: you will serve as on-the-ground technical ‘voice’ for a wide variety of cross-functional initiatives for the leadership team. You would be performing below -
Role Responsibilities
- Work with engineering and business partners to define and build out complex payment solutions driving value through business process simplification, automation and new product capabilities and innovations
- Create vision, strategy, and plan to build high performance and large-scale real-time payment systems that scale to billions of transactions per day
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
- Collaborate with peers and cross functional teams across the globe
- Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
- Be a culture champion on the team and across the company
Role Requirements
- Track record of successful software architecture design and implementation at enterprise level.
- BS in Computer Science or related fields or 15+ years of professional experience with 8+ years of Architecture exposure.
- Experience implementing real-time cross-border payments solutions.
- In-depth technical understanding of various payment methods and industry-standard bank file formats including, but not limited to, NACHA, ISO 20022, BAI, and SWIFT
- Architect systems that are compliant with regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX etc. Assist with assessment of systems for compliance.
- Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
- Experience with architecture design concepts, drawing architecture diagrams, and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D.
- Demonstrated experience in modern programming languages (for example, Java/C++) and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience in building microservices based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.
- Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, XML, Web technologies, Web Services.
- Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google or Hybrid) based architecture designs and implementations.
- Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
