We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (G 29) to lead complex, multi team engineering initiatives with a solid focus on delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and technical decision making. This role is accountable for translating business priorities into well executed, scalable technology solutions while mentoring engineering leaders and ensuring high standards of quality, security, and compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own end to end execution of large, cross functional engineering programs from design through production
- Partner closely with product, architecture, business, and leadership stakeholders to align scope, priorities, risks, and delivery plans
- Provide hands on technical leadership - reviewing designs, influencing architecture decisions, and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
- Lead and develop engineering managers, tech leads, and senior engineers, fostering accountability and a solid delivery culture
- Drive predictable delivery using Agile/Lean practices; proactively manage dependencies, risks, and escalations
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards (security, compliance, architecture, SDLC) while enabling teams to move fast
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles
- Experience operating in large enterprise environments with complex governance and compliance needs
- Solid technical foundation in modern architectures (cloud native, microservices, APIs, data platforms)
- Proven track record of successful project execution across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Proven excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence at senior leadership levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience delivering AI/ML, data, or platform scale solutions
- Ownership of mission critical systems with high reliability and scale expectations
