Purpose and Scope:
As a Platform Engineer Analytics & Data engineer, you will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights that empower HR and business leaders to make informed decisions. With a strong foundation in SAP SuccessFactors and a passion for analytics, you will design, develop, and optimize reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with business objectives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate HR data into actionable intelligence that enhances employee experience and organizational performance
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Design and build reports and dashboards using SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics, Story Reports, Canvas Reports, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across HR systems and reporting platforms.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for HR analytics.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic workforce planning and decision-making.
- Provide training and support to HR users on self-service reporting tools and best practices.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and documentation of analytics solutions.
Qualifications Required
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, e.g., HR, Computer Science, Data Science
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly in People Analytics and reporting modules.
· Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Advanced Reporting, and Story Reports.
· Strong understanding of HR data models, business processes, and data privacy considerations.
· Experience working with Excel, Power BI, or other visualization tools is a plus.
· Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Strong knowledge of HR Processes and HR data with a proven track record of driving business outcomes through data and the reporting insights
2. Demonstrable experience in Support of SuccessFactors People Analytics in SuccessFactors platform
3. Must have SuccessFactors Associate Level Certification in SF People Analytics and one or modules like EC would be preferred
4. Ability to adopt in engaging Agile ceremonies
5. Participate in Internal and External Data Audits, support Data subject rights
Working Environment:
- This position is based in Bengaluru, India and will require on-site work.
- Requirement to be co-located with the HQ or GBS Hub Location but able to travel internationally on occasion
- Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and demands on time
- Ability to operate effectively within a global environment, using remote communication, and appreciating different cultural backgrounds
