We are currently looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People team and support our growing site in India. This role will have the opportunity to create an engaging and productive environment and be the local point of contact supporting a full spectrum of HR activities while acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers. You will undertake a wide range of People/HR tasks including onboarding/offboarding, implementation of local and Lytx global policies, benefits and leave administration, while adhering to local compliance.

You’ll get to: 

  • Provide effective and dedicated advisory support to employees, addressing questions related to our policies, processes, and programs.
  • Work with our Employee Experience team to co-create and execute an engaging and scalable onboarding and orientation experience to welcome new employees to the team.
  • Responsible for the execution of an engaging and efficient experience at every stage of the employee life-cycle, including onboarding, new hire orientation, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate data in our HRIS systems, including entering data and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Responsible for adhering to and administering local policies.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest HR trends and best practices and provide recommendations for implementing changes aimed at creating an effective and productive organization.
  • Support of payroll and benefits processes through partnership with the Total Rewards and Finance teams.
  • Assist in the maintenance and interpretation of local policies to employees and people leaders.
  • Coordinate and conduct training as needed.
  • Primary point of contact for human resources-related inquiries from employees located in India.
  • Maintain positive company morale and Lytx India Company Culture.
  • Lead and/or Assist in managing special projects as needed. 
  • Other duties assigned. 

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR
  • Excellent knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Deep understanding of India local Labor Law and employment equity regulations. Multi national company support preferred
  • Experience with HRIS applications used in HR tracking and reporting (Workday is an advantage).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented person that acts with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven experience working in Workday
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
