The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student for JD Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Supports multiple machining departments in their daily functions
- Assist with perishable tool creation in Tool Data Management (TDM) software
- Audit shopfloor documentation used by machining operators and correct as needed
- Gather, review and analyze information
- Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices
This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering/Technology; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
- Graduation date of May 2027 or later; others may apply
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Available to work 12-20 hours weekly during school year
- Available to work 20-40 hours per week during summer
- Must be able to commute to work location in Waterloo, Iowa year-round
