We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions that enhance user experience and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and design new features.
- Integrate applications with external data sources and RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
- Perform unit testing to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability, including handling edge cases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix application bugs to improve performance and stability.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
- Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and multiple Android versions.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Strong understanding of Android design principles and user interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).
- Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps.
- Published apps on Google Play Store.
