This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong work ethic and an understanding of microservices architecture or containerized applications or event-driven architectures. Further experience in cloud platforms (preferably Azure), would be an advantage but a clear work ethic and clean coding mentality is a must.
Mission:
Build and maintain cloud-native microservices that power mission-critical systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical implementations. Developing scalable microservices, creating secure and high-performance Restful APIs, and deploying containerized applications in modern cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Strong familiarization with the business. Make sure to review use cases, discuss and define technical requirements with the team, aim to implement solutions with the emphasis on scalability and traceability
- Develop, and maintain .NET microservices running in containers and microservices architecture.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integration with other services in a microservices ecosystem.
- Produce technical documentation to maintain explainability/traceability of the solutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
- Implement unit tests, integration tests.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET Core development.
- Knowledge of SQL and RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Azure services (or equivalent cloud platforms like AWS/GCP), Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NoSQL / BigData / TimeSeries platforms (e.g., MongoDB, CosmosDB, InfluxDB).
- Knowledge of React framework and frontend development.
- Understanding of microservices or event-driven or Domain-Driven Design architectures,
