Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to join our Asia-Pacific (APAC) Solutions Engineering team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Machine Learning models—specifically focusing on supervised and unsupervised learning for digital content—to deliver robust solutions on the Iron Mountain Platform.
As part of the APAC Solutions Engineering team, you will work at the intersection of innovation and execution, transforming complex customer requirements into functional Proof of Concepts and scalable production services.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Design and develop scalable Machine Learning models for classification and entity extraction, ensuring high-quality code and effective integration with back-end components and client-facing applications.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Quality Assurance teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions and ensure the validity of all deliverables.
Responsibility 3: Manage the full deployment lifecycle—including testing, debugging, and issue resolution—to ensure compliant and timely implementation across development, Quality Assurance (QA), and production environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer or Data Scientist, with a proven track record in an Agile environment.
Strong knowledge of Python programming, Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn), and experience fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLM).
Proven ability in Cloud Technologies (Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform) and deploying microservices via Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
