The ideal candidate balances the roles of architect, enabler, troubleshooter, data guardian, process analyst, and automation strategist. As the owner of the “heart” of the marketing technology stack, this role is critical to the success of SailPoint’s core marketing operations and GTM execution.

Responsibilities
Own the administration, architecture, and ongoing optimization of the Marketo platform, ensuring a scalable, best-in-class marketing automation environment.
Evangelize Marketo best practices through documentation, training, guidance, and enablement across marketing and cross-functional teams.
Manage platform performance and governance, including users, roles, workspaces, programs, smart campaigns, smart lists, forms, landing pages, tracking, automations, segmentation, lead routing, MQL structure, channel management, retention, and privacy controls.
Build, maintain, and optimize integrations across the marketing technology stack, including CRM, event management, webinar platforms, ad technology, and other third-party tools.
Collaborate with campaign, customer, partner, and product marketing teams on Marketo strategy, campaign execution, experimentation (A/B testing), and operational processes.
Partner with Lead Management and Sales Operations to implement and maintain mature lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle management frameworks.
Ensure successful configuration, execution, and ongoing maintenance of all marketing programs within the platform.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability through automation and process optimization.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless data flow, campaign execution, and mature reporting processes across marketing systems.
Own administration and ongoing optimization of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, serving as the technical administrator responsible for configuration, permissions, workflows, integrations, and governance.
Partner closely with the Content Strategist (planned hire) to support asset lifecycle management, taxonomy, metadata standards, and publishing workflows, while enabling scalable content activation across Marketo and web channels.
Collaborate with the Product Marketing Team to ensure our DAM is set up and structured to ensure seamless integration between the DAM, marketing automation platform, and web systems, supporting efficient asset distribution and campaign execution and optimized to leveraging AI agents to build ABM programs and dynamic websites

Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on marketing automation, marketing operations, data, or equivalent agency/consulting experience.
2–3+ years of hands-on experience as a Marketo Administrator; current or recent Marketo certification preferred.
Proven experience supporting or leading marketing automation system migrations.
Working knowledge of Salesforce, particularly campaign, lead, and contact objects.
Experience collaborating with Salesforce administrators, IT teams, Sales Operations, and other non-marketing stakeholders.
Strong understanding of data architecture, field syncs, workflows, campaign hierarchy, reporting, and lead management.
Familiarity with data retention practices and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA preferred).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by individual and team success.
Experience with tools such as 6sense, Drift, Qualified, PathFactory, Folloze, Outreach, RingLead, Cvent, Integrate, Bynder and Litmus preferred.
Experience leveraging AI agents to drive productivity and process optimization is a strong plus (preferably Gemini Enterprise and Zapier).
