Overview
The Mastercard Payment Networks team is looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
. Minimum 7 Years of Mainframe development experience
• Core Payments of MasterCard is involved in developing Authorization, Clearing, Debit and other major functionalities for MasterCard. Analyze and create cutting edge solutions for Core Payments teams. Proficient with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL,PROC, Microfocus COBOL, TWS Scheduler and DB2 LUW.
> Experience with mainframe software development tools and platforms (z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, IBM System z)• Extensive Hands on Experience with Mainframe Software development• Hands on Experience with Microfocus COBOL, DB2 LUW and TWS scheduler• Coordinate with other groups including vendors to ensure success of the project.• Develops software which is high on performance and meets business requirements.• Maintain and present project related metrics reporting for management review• Lead initiatives for automation, defect metrics and overall quality initiatives• Handle coordination between teams based in various locations
> Creating high-performance, mission-critical applications
> Analyzing Business requirements and developing software solutions
> Ensuring software applications meet all performance and security requirements
> Working with other developers to create high-performance, scalable applications
> Researching new technologies and software development trends
> Providing technical support and troubleshooting
> Strong ability and experience in driving the technical roadmap for AODS and Clearing application
